I live in Texas, where summers can literally kill an overheated dog. Both of my dogs absolutely love going on the Dogpacer, and it has made a big difference in their muscle tone and endurance. So glad I bought this.
Living in Miami doesn’t make it easy to exercise our dogs; it’s either very early in the AM or late night which is also an inconvenience because well I don’t have the energy for it 😅 Having this treadmill is a game changer! Thanks for the best deal out there!
One of our dogs is in training. She is a husky shepherd mix with the energy x3. Her trainer introduced her to this treadmill. She’s addicted! Literally! I looked at others but they didn’t match up to the quality of the Dog Pacer
I have 2 very active dogs who have been stuck indoors too much during a brutally hot Arizona summer, so I finally decided to get a treadmill for them. After researching, I chose DogPacer. I was surprised at how fast it arrived. It was pretty easy to assemble (the most difficult part was putting the side panels into their holders!). One dog took to it immediately and seems to love "working out." My high anxiety dog took a few days just to get all 4 paws on the equipment, but now stands on it as long as I don't turn it on. She's getting there and gets jealous of the attention the other dog gets for actually walking on it, so I know it's just a matter of time before she's a champion user too. If I had any complaints, it would be that the area in front of the harness bar could be just a little longer, as my dogs have a long stride and tend to move forward, especially if one of us is standing in front of the machine to encourage them as new users, so I worry about them stepping off the treadmill, a concern I never had when I had smaller dogs using a treadmill. As they become more experienced and comfortable the concern may go away.
I was excited to make this investment since I have a working dog (Vizsla) and live in an apartment. Our first day walking on it my dog was wore out from the new learning and exercise and ended up napping the rest of the day! It got to me quick and well packed. It was heavy and I was able to assemble it myself but you might want some help when lifting it to put it in your desired spot.
Also there's a note that says you have to keep the box if you want to return it. Just something to keep in mind.
