Lucio was more than just a champion—he was the heart and inspiration behind Canine Athletes.

Lucio was an incredible competitor whose longevity and sustained excellence set him apart as one of the greatest in ADBA history. He is one of the most impressive dogs I have ever owned and will forever be remembered for the legacy he built.

For those who knew Lucio personally, his legacy will always be more than just the accolades he accumulated. He epitomized what a modern-day heritage-bred American Pit Bull Terrier should be. Intelligent, athletic, confident, and always ready and willing. He was a true sport-utility dog and my best friend. Without him I would have never been blessed with so many opportunities; from traveling the world to starting the Canine Athletes brand and everything in between. It was such a privilege to share my life with him and make so many priceless memories together.
